I was blown away when i stumbled upon Tony's site. Even more so when i put the M.I.D.I under the microscope. The Start variation on the chords is impressive and human. The Drums have perfect velocity variations. These Packs Are opening up creativity for me. Ideas i would not come up with normally. Writers block is gone. Better than any sample pack! And the Sessions online library is helping me with playing guitar. Tony put a lot into this, and his customer service is top notch. Thanks

I have been using Prosonic MIDI Libraries for over 10 years. They have have always been created with great care.

There many genres of drum styles. Everything from Rock, Metal and Hip-Hop.

i have had Prosonic midi drum libraries for years , never failed me other libraries are basic in nature giving me that drum machine feel , Prosonic nailed it , and one more plus the support is top notch Bravo for that, no matter which drum software you use , the files wont let you down, organized well so no hunting just choose , have many daws and yet to find any short comings , the limitation is on the artist or performer that being said a solid purchase thank you Presonic Studios

If you’re looking for midi libraries to help build up sound for your songs, Prosonic Studios has what you’re looking for. What I like most is that they’ve done the groundwork for you to simplify your work. In one recent song, “In Memorium”, I used their Triad Chord Progression library to add lead horn and background ambience synth modules – there was no guesswork required for the harmonies, since the level of complexity I wanted was already there and available for the choosing. A bit of innovation with the files did the rest for that part of my song.

For another song, “Swing Illusional #2”, I was looking to add a more subtle background ambience to contrast the rhythm of my funk guitar style. It was simple. Prosonic’s library provided what otherwise might have taken extra hours to put together – all I had to do was add the desired midi files into the plug-in modules I was using and I could then tweak minor adjustments to the swing values and sounds to get the results I wanted.

Especially when time on a project is limited, Prosonic libraries can help limit the need to reinvent the wheel and allow you to spend more time on the creative side of your song for generating diverse sounds and fitting it all together with various techniques for something new. I purchased both parts of Drum Patterns - Jazz and Big Band Vol 1 for use in my home studio when building backing tracks for practice and publication. The Common and Complex time signature midi patterns are a real time saver that help me build very realistic drum tracks within my Cakewalk production environment.

They are easy to select, import, tweak and tune ... and they produce professional results that I could not achieve on my own, if I tried to program them myself (jazz is just too complicated). I highly recommend Prosonic Studios midi libraries if you are looking for real value and usability.

I purchased 2 libraries from Prosonic. Jazz & Big band and Latin & Salsa. I also own groove monkey and platinum libraries. I was positively surprised how good Prosonic loops are. They are very versatile & carefully made.

They sound amazing with my BFD3 and Superior Drummer. There are plenty of patterns. Some of them are very unique. I am using them every time I perform as well as during recording sessions.

I do not consider myself an especially creative person. But with the Prosonic libraries I can still make music!

They provide the "get me started" building blocks that I use with my Digital Audio Workstation midi software to expand into full pieces. Transpose, copy 'n' paste, edit here and there, assign instruments to the tracks, and there I am - a complete work! With assurance that "the notes go together", which is an important benefit for someone like me who has only limited music theory. Don't let that hold you back!

I especially like the drum beats, though. And the syncopation options Prosonic provides give me plenty of opportunity to "mix it up" and avoid falling into a simple, boring 4-4 beat.

This is a fine collection of meticulously assembled tracks that can serve as a solid foundation for writing and practice. Each style is recorded in multiple tracks making it easy to add and subtract individual instruments.

MIDI is really a good choice for percussion tracks, because they can be used with any samples you wish.

The feel of the tracks is realistic and stylistically appropriate, though it comes from a rock orientation. As a keyboard player, I am perfectly capable of hacking a simple rhythm track, but I am not about to waste a week perfecting it.

This collection makes it much easier to start with a clean rhythm so I can concentrate on the music.

Prosonic midi libraries are great starting material for manipulating midi in Ableton Live (and I assume other programs as well).

They will enhance your creativity as opposed to limiting it if you have enough of an imagination and a playful spirit. Throwing together a mock-up or prototype is fast and easy.

The inspirational kick-starts I get from these sessions have fueled countless song ideas.

It's the collaborative partner I've always wanted. The value for the price is second to none. The possibilities are endless. Thank you for your work!

I am usually not the kind of guy that likes everything without finding something wrong or scanty about it...

Well there is nothing scanty here. What not to like? Really well organised, bunch of variety of well crafted midi patterns. When I get prepped midi drum patterns or loops, I almost always feel like changing the patterns and accents. Or add stuff. Because usually they come either to square or dry or repetitive or all of the above...

But to my surprise these midi patterns required very little adjustment. The need to tweak which rises up after an improve session, usually either with a Keyboard or a Bass, played over a pattern. Because you will want to arrange a new traffic accordingly. Since the drummer can't hear me, I have to do the listening for him.

The inspiration comes from small details and nuances for me. And then a good sound. But playing with a good drummer is a must. When you feel that good drum beating, it just pumps you up and elevates your playing like nobody's business..

So I felt like I had to write something about this trip...

I haven't tried everything but I certainly feel drown to indulge myself with more of the good stuff here...

I have used ready-made midi drum libraries from Prosonic for backing tracks and recordings and have never been disappointed with the results. I can tailor the midi files for any of my sample libraries and because they are midi, I can customize them to suit any project. It takes a lot of tedium out of my workflow, drastically cutting down production time, (and money).

Not being a drummer, these files give me the freedom to create musical projects that would have been impossible for me before now.

The Prosonic MIDI drum patterns are a wonderful way to break the bonds of your favourite drum plugin. They can be easily fed into sequencers and plugins alike, offering longer takes than most drumsaplers have on board.

The stylistic variety is unique and the compability and execution (technically as well as musically) are superb. If you are not a drummer yourself, this is the next best you can come to it. A useful addition to every media composer's palette which will speed up your workflow when creating drum tracks.

Heres the thing i loved about the bundle of drum patterns i purchased. They helped me compose things i didnt know i had in me. The creative inspiration alone made the purchase worth it and then some!

Expirimenting with time signatures unfamiliar to me has helped me grow as a musician, and these bundles have so many feels to choose from.

Im glad i acted on the impulse. I got so much more pleasure messing with my DAW because of my purchase. I recommend these bundles to anybody needing help getting out of a creative rut.
